Riding the Waves

Blessed are the flexible, for they shall not break. I'm not sure who first came up with that saying, but it has been a great reminder this week!

Tomorrow "should" have been my departure date for Japan. I have gotten my flight rescheduled for next Thursday, June 22nd, due to unexpected processing time for my visa paperwork. I should have that ready on Tuesday.

This past week has been full of many learning opportunities, and although we wonder why things don't always go as we plan, I have to believe that God is always in control! He already knew what this week would hold, amidst our somewhat stressful circumstances and ever-changing expectations. God knows what this coming week will hold, and I believe there will be blessings in these 'bonus' days before I leave. I'm learning to expect the unexpected, and ride the waves as they come.
