Acknowledge Him

Where would I be if not for God's leading in my life? I can all but guarantee I wouldn't be in Japan. I wouldn't have this peace, this joy, and this love that only He gives. This week I had a couple opportunities to reflect on how God has led, and how God has provided, even in the whirlwind that the past three and a half months have been.

How easy is it to forget what God has done? How easy is it to doubt? How easy is it to look at the challenges instead of the joys? May I daily choose to acknowledge Who God is and what He's done.

After one week off of teaching because of having surgery again, I was back in the classroom again! It went well! One thing that is universal - the end of the year seems to bring extra energy here, too!

On Wednesday, I went to get my stitches out and the doctor gave me a good report! Afterwards, it was sweet to get some lunch and go for a walk with a couple good friends.

Over the weekend, I visited the Shioda church. It's been way too long since I've been there, and what a blessing it was, again! I loved seeing some of the country scenery, although it makes me miss my Indiana cornfields.

But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be glory both now and to the day of eternity. Amen. 2 Peter 3:18

So much I can relate to about this post, sister friend. 💛 Glad to hear you’re doing well! So thankful God leads us to the places He desires to grow and use us. I miss those Indiana corn fields on occasion too 🥰 Love & hugs!
